2013 Spring Clean-up Volunteers!
13 hard working community members showed up for our 4th annual Aldercrest Spring Clean-up event, sharing their time, muscle and equipment to help keep our park looking good into the summer.
Working together, the volunteers trimmed the high grasses along the 25th Ave fence line, in the old baseball dugout and in the tennis courts, and pickup garbage around the park ~ all in just a little over 2 hours!
Their efforts made a huge difference and shows that the neighborhood and park users care about the Aldercrest property. Check out the photos below to see the volunteers at work, and some great ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos.
We are very grateful to our 2013 volunteers and hope to see many new faces in October for our 2nd annual Fall Clean-up event!
